SFU WiCS

Kaitlynn is a fourth-year Computer Science and Business student. Aside from school, she enjoys trying new recipes (mostly the eating part), reading, and being active (though it can be pain). She is very excited to see everyone at Try/CATCH this year and hopes to inspire you to join STEM!

Archita is a third-year Computing Science student. She is very grateful to be a part of the WICS team and have the opportunity to lead this wonderful event. Aside from school and WICS, she loves going on runs and enjoys listening to podcasts while cooking her favourite dishes. She is also very passionate about Research, AI, Data Science and Mathematics, and aspires to be a good role model for women entering the field of Computer Science.

Harpreet is a fourth-year Computer Science student and is excited to be a part of the Try/Catch team. In her free time, you'll likely find her enjoying the outdoors or trying new food spots. She can't wait to help create an unforgettable and educational experience for all of you!

Avni is a 2nd year Computing Science and Cognitive Science student. She is super excited to be on the Try/CATCH team this year. In her free time, she can be found catching up on her endless reading log, attending a yoga class or out in the abyss, exploring! She is excited to meet the attendees and create a fulfilling experience.

Denise is a Computing Science major and Interactive Arts & Technology minor at SFU. On the weekends she can be found dragon boating and trying out new arts and crafts. She is very excited for Try/CATCH 2023 and cannot wait to see all the bright new faces and share her love of STEM.

Shatavisha is a third-year Computing Science student at SFU with a knack for diving into fresh tech frontiers - constantly picking up new skills and uncovering uncharted knowledge. Her love for computers began in middle school and the first programming languages she learned were C, C++ and Python. She loves listening to podcasts while coding, and is an avid fan of mechanical keyboards.

Gahee is a third-year student pursuing a degree in Software Systems at SFU. She is passionate about Women in Computing Science and aspires to make meaningful contributions to this field by fostering an inclusive environment. In her free time, she likes to watch anime, listen to K-pop, and crochet!

Mantaj is a 3rd year Computer Science student who loves solving problems! She never coded before university but is now loving it! In her free time she likes hanging out with friends and making cool videos. She is excited to meet all the amazing incoming CS Women+.
